Happy New year 2021!

Hello my beautiful people,

I went to Kingston, Ontario for 3 weeks which was lovely. Came back to Tsay Keh Dene for a 2 week quarantine. I really did not mind the quarantine as it allowed me to study and not have to work at the same time. It is quite peaceful up here with the snow outside. I went for some long walks with a coworker which was really nice. I learned how to snowmobile. It is super fun! Dangerous machines if you are not careful but fun!!!

I really love the winter here with all of the snow.

I know it has been a while since I last made an entry, I have been trying to add pictures to my blog entry and it keeps on crashing so I decided to write and Ill try and add pictures on the next one. It might just be a giant album of pictures relating to this post.

I really enjoyed going to Kingston, Ontario for Christmas. I met my nephew and was able to spend some amazing quality time with my niece and brother's family. I even learned how to make ravioli from scratched! It was fun.

Time in Tsay Keh from the New Year until mid march (Spring Break) has it ups and down. I enjoyed my walks in the winter, seeing the Northern Lights, seeing and working with the kids again. I miss them everytime I am away. Studying was stressful at times but I managed to pass my courses with an A so far. Work has been good but some challenges came about which I will talk later on about all that.

After Christmas break, my coworker got a kitten, my roomate a hamster, and my cousin a puppy. I felt left out. It is very easy wanting a pet up here. The kitten and the puppy are doing well. The hamster passed away due to the chill winter here.

We had some cold temperature dropping to -35 + windchill. I loved it. You walk outside and your eyelashes freeze. Its a neat feeling. Nice feeling if it is short lived! A couple days the school closed because it would not warm up. I often went to work wearing long johns, thermal tops and my winter jacket IN the school while working.

For Spring Break, I came to see my friends in Vancouver/Victoria. It is a really nice break. Going back up to community monday.
